Cherner Dining Chair

The 1958 molded plywood side chair by Norman Cherner is the companion to the classic Cherner arm chair. The perfect dining chair, it is built to be handed down from generation to generation. The seat is made of laminated plywood of graduated thickness, from 15 plys to 5 plys at the thin edge of the shell. Reissued in exacting detail from the original drawings and molds, the side chair is strong, lightweight and like the original, made entirely in the U.S.A
Cherner chairs and stools are also available with the original two-pad upholstery design. The seat pads are separate molded plywood shells padded with 3/4" of foam wrapped with the customers own material, Maharam Fabric, or Spinneybeck leather. Chairs are available with a seat pad only or seat and back pad set. Please call for pricing information.
